I build edtech businesses in Kerala — then help other founders run theirs better. From ₹150 a day to a 12+ country edtech platform, my advice is battle-tested, not theory.
I grew up in Puthoormadam, a rural part of Calicut, Kerala, in a middle-class family. Nothing about my background pointed toward entrepreneurship. During my undergrad, money was tight — I worked retail jobs for around ₹150 a day.
Then one question changed everything: why monetize my time at someone's counter, when I could monetize my skill? ₹150 for 10 hours at a shop, or ₹150 for one hour of teaching — it wasn't a hard decision. That first tuition class became EduSolve, Edudot and Skill Fly.
Today I run three edtech ventures with my co-founder Jifri, and consult with institutes, agencies and D2C brands on finance and operations — using real businesses, not theory, as the credibility base.
A career built one deliberate bet at a time — online and offline, wins and one crucial failure.
EduSolve's first format — home tuition — worked, but couldn't scale. Instead of defending it, we killed the model, studied what was actually working, and rebuilt EduSolve as an online platform. That single decision is why it reached 12+ countries instead of staying a local service.
Each was a deliberate bet, not a copy-paste — digital-first and offline-anchored, together showing how edtech actually runs.
